Take Back the Night is a dinner, program, and candle light march to honor and support victims of domestic violence.
This year’s speaker is Audrey Mabrey. In 2009, she was struck with a hammer and lit on fire by her abusive husband in his effort to end her life. Not only did she survive this horrific incident, she now speaks to groups around the world about domestic violence and offers hopes to other survivors. She has shared her story on “Dr Phil”, “48 Hours”, and “I Survived”.
This is a free event and is open to the public. We only ask that you RSVP, either through this Eventbrite page or call 605-338-0116 to let us know you plan to attend, if you need any special accomodations, or if you have any questions.
