Child welfare and legal professionals will detail their multidisciplinary roles in the legal proceedings of child welfare cases in South Dakota.
Students and professionals in law, criminal justice, and child protection will interact and learn from leaders in the field!
The event will be held in the ballroom of the Muenster University Center at the USD campus in Vermillion, SD. The workshop begins with registration and lunch at 11:30am Central Time with best practice presentations for child abuse and neglect cases to follow.
South Dakota Supreme Court Chief Justice Steven R. Jensen and South Dakota Supreme Court Justice Scott P. Myren will provide introductions and opening remarks. Additional speakers will cover best practices in multidisciplinary roles involved in child abuse and neglect cases in South Dakota. The event is scheduled to end at 5pm Central Time.
