We are pleased to announce that the 22nd National Conference on Child Abuse and Neglect (NCCAN) will be held virtually on July 27-29, 2021.
This event will offer an exceptional opportunity to connect and learn about nationwide efforts to shift the focus of the child welfare system to primary prevention—creating the conditions for strong and thriving families and communities where children are free from child abuse and neglect.
Sponsored by the Office on Child Abuse and Neglect, Children’s Bureau, Administration on Children, Youth, and Families, the virtual 22nd NCCAN will provide a forum for leadership and action-centered dialogue around this year’s conference theme, Thriving Children and Families: Prevention with Purpose.
The virtual conference will be presented over three shorter days to ensure that content is delivered in digestible segments. Later start times each day will allow for attendees across multiple time zones to participate. It is our hope that utilizing a dynamic virtual platform will allow for the participation of a broader audience and increase the diversity of ideas and input.
As conference details are confirmed, updates will be provided via the NCCAN listserv and the NCCAN website. If this email was forwarded to you, please ensure you receive conference updates by subscribing to the listserv.
We wish everyone health and safety and look forward to seeing you – virtually – in July 2021!
