Multi-disciplinary organizations, like Child Advocacy Centers and Family Justice Centers, can improve the community-level response to domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and human trafficking if the organizations provide survivor-centered, trauma-informed services to violence survivors. Access to confidential professionals, such as advocates and health providers, is a key component of trauma-informed services. This webinar will teach participants the federal rules on confidentiality for VAWA and VOCA-funded multi-disciplinary agencies, and address the nuances of implementing confidentiality while facilitating collaboration by law enforcement, government protective agencies, healthcare providers, lawyers, and victim advocates.
Deadline to register is January 22nd by 5p CT.
