Please consider joining us for our upcoming one-day conference: Human Trafficking in South Dakota. It will be held at the Pierre Ramkota on Thursday, December 14th from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM. A block of rooms at the Ramkota have been set aside for attendees.
The conference will open with a welcome and remarks by South Dakota Secretary of the Department of Labor and Regulation. Attorney General Marty Jackley will provide information and insight on human trafficking in South Dakota from the Attorney General’s office. Featured presenters with first-hand knowledge and experience of human trafficking in the state will also speak.
The conference is hosted by Black Hills Special Services Cooperative through the National Farmworker Jobs Program (NFJP) serving migrant and seasonal farmworkers in South Dakota. Gloria Miller, Program Director for the NFJP, will provide information on this program during the conference.
The cost to attend the conference is $35. Lunch will be provided. Registration will open November 1 at the website below.
