Collaborative. Interdisciplinary. Empowering. The Center for Disabilities Symposium is designed to bring together people who are active in the field of disabilities in a welcoming environment that encourages education, the sharing of ideas, rejuvenation and inspiration. The symposium is an event which fosters energy and creativity among service providers, educators, employers, persons with disabilities, families, and government agencies. Its purpose is to promote leadership and workforce development for individuals with disabilities and the people who serve them.
The final deadline to register for the symposium is Sept. 8, 2017.
Financial aid for the event is available on a limited basis. Download, fill out and submit the form below to the South Dakota Council on Disabilities to apply:
Symposium attendees are invited to stay at the Sioux Falls Sheraton Hotel at a group rate. Book by Aug. 17, 2017 to secure your spot. The offer is subject to availability.

Participants who want to earn educational credits for attending the symposium are asked to select and fill out the credit form and bring it to the symposium, along with the payment for the credits.
