Join us for the first Community Resource Fair sponsored by Catholic Social Services’ Prosperity Initiative and Youth & Family Services’ Stronger Family Program! The purpose/goal of this event is to build connections between those who serve youth, families and those in poverty and the resources throughout our community that are available.
On March 2nd in the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center, we will be hosting a Community Resource Fair in conjunction with YFS’s semi-annual All Staff Training. We will expect over 300 staff members from CSS, YFS and other youth & family serving organizations to come eager to learn about resources from our area that may benefit them in their efforts to support children and their families in being capable, caring and contributing members of our community.
PLUS FREE Cultural Competency Training with CEUs:
Keynote: Shaina Pourier, from Catholic Social Services’ Lakota Circles of Hope Program will offer a 45 minute presentation addressing how Historical Trauma impacts those we serve.
This presentation will be open to the community!
Plainly stated, if you make the world a better place for children, families and those in poverty, then this event is for you!
